Oh hey. So now that I'm on holidaaays (finally!) I plan to post more often..  Don't hold me to it though!

Yes my beautiful amazing favourite new shoes arrived!! Jeffrey Campbell Harlock Sandal via Nasty Gal. I love love love! Paired with these vintage Calvin Kleins and a dark blue jumper it was just enough to make them stand out, and help me battle the freeezing Canberra weather!

Just a little something I did to kill my boredom! Im still not ready to give up on shorts and skirts, no matter how cold it is. Kinda reflects the colour palette and style I am going for this winter. Basically I am digging black, grey and white basics, with feature pieces such as the metallic shirt or printed jacket. I'm also loving leather, and cut out shoes/sandals.

Speaking of sandals I am in LOVE those Jeffrey Campbell Harlock's!! I have been frothing over them for what feels like forever, and literally can not wait until mine arrive in a few days ! (I mean I'm not excited or anything...)

Also featured on there are some items from my wishlist, namely - the Michael Kors watch, Stella McCartney Bonnie Lingerie, Ecoya Candle, a Leather Tote Bag...

I am also desperately in search of that perfect bomber jacket for winter! Something unique, but versatile. And not too thin and tacky.

I know I know I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever! Assignments and exams are destroying me at the moment but I promise I'll do better next time... 

One trend I cannot get enough of at the moment is metallic colours and prints! Particularly textured materials. Most of what we are seeing at the moment on the runways and in collections is silver and bronze, with the occasional splash of green or pink, and I love it. Its smooth, shiny, and different; edgy yet refined.  

Above are some fantastic Aussie labels embracing this trend in their current Winter 2013 Collections - August Street, Evil Twin, Mossman, Staple the Label and Shakuhachi. I can't wait to get my hands on some of these for winter!! Pair it with some fierce black leather and its a match made in heaven xoxoxoxoxo

I thought I should start by establishing that no, I am not dead, and no I did not spend the last month somewhere so remote there was no Internet. It was worse; I broke my phone and laptop :'( however yesterday I finally got a new phone! And not just any phone, the Samsung Galaxy S4! So far I love it.

Basically I took these photos weeks ago when I went to lunch at this cute cafe in Kingston. The vegie burger was delicious, and the strawberry and lime frappe even better! For my outfit I basically made the knit my focus. In winter I feel a funky printed knit with neutral basics is simple but effective, and stripes are a must! Anyway that's all for now, hope you like it, and more to come soon! I will likely post once a week on Thursdays :) xo

Today my new sweater from Hello Parry arrived. Super excited!! I LOVE neon green as a colour at the moment, and definantly see it as being a big winter trend! I can't wait to rock this sweater with a leather wrap skirt or boyfriend jeans. Shakuhachi also have an amazing neon green sweater atm so if your looking to jump on the bandwagon, I would deffs check that one out! I have been searching for a rosewater based face spritzer which uses only natural ingredients for ages, and was stoked to find this Sukrin one! It's perfect as a refresher to replenish your skin and keep it moist, and I love using it after cleansing. Finally I couldn't resist another Burts Bees lip balm. It has a slight tint of colour and gives a really nice, natural look. Since I'm still really new to this whole blog thang, I would love to hear thoughts or feedback on what you like/don't like!

I just lost my blogging v's. How exciting/scary. I've wanted to start a blog for a while now, that way I have somewhere to track my inspiration, my life and my goals. I want to travel. I want to shop. I really want to redecorate my room. And I want you to read my blog. Its weird writing this, especially when there is a relatively high chance nobody will actually ever read it. Yes the photo is of me, so you can see who is writing these fantastic posts. Oh and just a heads up, I do tend to use sarcasm on the odd occasion (all the time). And I love italics, coffee and semi-colons; cool.
